Thats what I was thinking. Maybe its a regular pikachu holding the special item that will make it a mega pikachu  or mega Raichu when you transfer it to the next game.

Like when you transfer your pokemon from black and white to X/Y similar to how they did it with transfering poke from Diamond/pearl to Black/White

You would go to some area in Black/white (forget were) and play a mini game and catch pokemon you transfered from your old game.



i thought thats want you meant, well 2 things! 1. this is for X/Y as it says Kalos Cup (x/y region). 2. We might not get to transfer our pokemon, there is no confirmation, at least yet! Oh yea and like i wrote in the OP, last months world tourny had a message that only those pariticapants will play in the first X/Y tourny! That means if all this is true less than 100k people around the World will get this pikachu O.o wen the game sells more than 10mil that means less than 1% will have the special pokemon... Lots of meltdowns if it ended up being a mega. i can honestly say this gen might actually have RARE pokemon, not legendaries that everybody can obtain but RARE pokemon lol

Ohhh my bad, I thought the tournament would be played on Black/White 2 and the people will get the Pikachu in that game. Well that kind of sucks they are only lettting the people play in the tournament are people that played the last one. Any Idea why they would do that? Anyways I think a rare pikachu with a speacial move like the one with surf is actually a good idea to give away. If it was a mega pikachu I could see a lot of people flipping if it was only obtainable thorugh that tourney ( I would! ). Imagine what people would ask for if they had that speacil Pikachu and put it up for trade at the GTS, I imagine a lot of people asking for ridicoules poke like a lv1 Groudon or something (I dont know why people ask for that it obvousily would have to be cheated to get.)



thats why we might not be able to transfer cuz of hacks/piracy!!! Anyway they were promoting alot of people to join the tourny, even i posted 2 threads about it!!! They do that maybe to show how rare something is. the thing is i would be generous to give one out but its an item, not a pokemon!(even though some are unbreedable)! All i kno is this gen we have to pay close attention! my bro getting X im getting Y so we'll have 2 blazikenites on us, the rest we'll have to see wats rare! Mewtwo would of been cool if whoever saw the movie!
