Nintendo's response to DLC, is that they prefer to give out a "complete" experience with their games, not finish them with DLC.......but for Mario Kart, this "explanation" wouldn't be a good one if they chose to not allow for DLC, because DLC would definitely leave people playing this game over and over again.
