Hasn't it always been like that from the beginning?
"Wii is competing with PS2, not PS360"
" Wii is for non-gamers. It's not a real gaming console for real/true gamers"
People started making a whole bunch of excuses as soon as Wii started dominating sales, after they all thought it would fail and be crushed by the much more powerful HD consoles.
