If you buy a game from Sony or MS you will be able to play it anywhere. This will be the final nail in the coffin for Nintendo's third party support. And this in turn will hurt their consoles.

Nintendo already has people locked into their particular ecosystem, and their own software is the key.

Nintendo have locked people in? I guess that's why we are seeing Wii numbers for the Wii U.

Seriously though, why would you choose the Wii U version of a game if you can play the PS4 & X1 versions on multiple devices?

Why buy a console at all by that logic.
