I haven't played any Tales games yet, but I plan on playing Xillia. This if great news for the fans of the series, and also I doubt that it won't be for next-gen, even if they "said" otherwise. |
I don't see any reason for them to lie?

I should have been a bit clearer, I didn't mean that it won't release for PS3, what I meant is that later on it will most likely come out on a next-gen console, the developer won't just come out and say that it will also release for next gen because then that will ruin the sales of this gens version.

Its unlikely. The tales studio has limited resources.
Also, please remember this is the same studio that almost bankrupted because they invested what they had on Vesperia early in the generation and it bombed on the 360. They will not take that risk again.
They might port something at some point to test the waters but a PS4 Tales wont be coming anytime soon.

I see, I wasn't aware that they almost went bankrupt at one point, that changes everything.
