Mario Kart is a racing game! Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to play the game.

I'm not sure what Rol is trying to say exactly, but it is a go-kart style racing game.  However, the results of each race isn't always determined by your ability as a racer and more of your ability to use and defend yourself from items.
