The selling of unauthorized software nintendo clearly can sue, and is fine idc.
However, preventing the modification of hardware I'm against. If it becomes a crime to modify or pay to have someone to modify something that you own because the company that created it says it is. It becomes a slippery slope that takes away rights from consumers, for more than just consoles. It sets a bad precedent imo.
