So does this apply to the Xbox One controller too? It was rumored that Xbox had this type of feature, turns out it was PS4, but maybe both?

The Xbox One's controller has 4 motors.  One in the base of each lower corner, then one on each of the triggers.

So you feel fine tuned movements on your trigger fingers.

Is that confirmed? If so the rumor I am referred to was misplaced on the Xbox One controller. Not that the X1 won't be using similar tech for the intensity, size, and low power usage but it doesn't sound like it has a multiple vibration set up. Despite the X1 having vibration in the triggers for force feedback, the programmable feedback in the DS4 will be a nice feature, though a shame they wouldn't have thrown one into the triggers along with it.

Yes, they confirmed it.  Putting the feedback in the triggers is the result of some creative genus at Microsoft.  I'm sure the WiiU2 and PS5 controllers will have them.

But hey, just like a Wiimote, the PS4 has a little speaker in there.

Here is my thread about me testing out the controller.  http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=162150&page=1

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
