Fair point, but I don't think something that happens this frequently could ever be as hyped and advertised as the E3 pressers, but you're probably right that they could get it out to more non-nintendo fans if it were hyped and advertised beforehand more.  As it is now it's just a way to get the people who already like them excited for what's coming in the future and seems unlikely to catch many peple outside of that sphere already.  Which could be totally what they're going for, but I'm not sure it's for the best this way.
