I don't see it that way. Wihle all of those games are good, only the two from Platinum Games deviate from what you'd normally see on a Nintendo platform, so there's no much improvement for those who weren't Nintendo fans already.

This is a very good post.

Pay attention, everyone. This guy calls The Wonderful 101 a game that deviates from what you normally see on a Nintendo platform when it is in fact a game that very much looks like a Nintendo game. What lifts it above the usual Nintendo stuff is the development studio that makes it, nothing else. So what appeals to non-Nintendo fans are games that are not Nintendo games. This can either be factual or, like in this specific case, a mere illusion. The Wonderful 101 is a Nintendo IP, but since this isn't really common knowledge it doesn't have the stench of the Nintendo name attached to it, thus it's one of the most interesting Wii U exclusives.

Anyway, I hope to see you in this year's NFL prediction league. I wish your Cardinals the best of luck, because they are going to need it.

It looks Viewtiful Joe with over the top action. I don't see how it or any of the gameplay they've shown looks at all like a Nintendo title.

Also, I'm not at all interested in Wonderful 101. I think it looks very boring. I was explaining the mindset of most people. That said, Zelda and Smash do a lot of change perception.

Edit: How did I not notice this. I will try and predict, but I"m not a Cardinals fan.

So it doesn't remind you of a certain Nintendo title that just released in which you command about a hundred creatures to fight enemies, clear obstacles and generally follow your bidding? Not to mention the bright and colorful art style and over-the-top characters that would fit right into something Nintendo would cook up?
