I would guess right now

3DS (hardware) - 95 million LTD

Mario Kart 7 - 11 million LTD

Animal Crossing: NL - 8 million LTD

Higher numbers on MK7/AC if Nintendo starts to force bundle them with hardware.

Without bundle, i think your highly underestimating both games, especially MK7. First AC is currently over 5.4mil sales w/o the holiday in US, so this year only the game should be over 7mil lifetime. MK7 is over 8mil and should most likely end up with 9.5mil-10mil sales. Userbase of 3DS should have a huge increase due to pokemon so it could be more. Also MK+NSMB have the longest legs of every game made. MK7 will sell no lower than 1mil a year for at least another 3 years (not including 2013).

I'd probably bump Animal Crossing to 9 million, though I think it's mostly done selling in its biggest market (Japan) and won't have the same long term legs in the West.

MK7 if it sells 1 million/year for the next 3 years, which is terrific legs, that would put it at about 11.15 million, so my estimate is really not that far off.

I don't think MK7 or NSMB will have as long of legs because the 3DS simply isn't the monster the DS was nor do they have that influx of Brain Training/Nintendogs buyers.

i get wat you mean with DS comparison, also i said 3 years not counting this year (2014-2016). This year MK7 should get another 2mil so that leaves it with around 13mil-15mil lifetime (which is damn good). AC is up in the air, we dont kno wats going on with it in the west. It can Beast during Holiday, too soon to tell!
