Which is exactly why the PSP has performed so much better than the Nintendo DS ... No wait it didn't
But at least the PS3 is performing better than the PSP so its fate will be different ... No wait its performing worse

The fact is that the "Brand Power" theory is crap, and if people cared that much about brands the Playstation would never have caught on

 

 The handhelds are completely different, Nintendo has dominated that market with the Gameboy since forever. Not even Sega at their peak were good enough to break in and compete in the handheld market. Sony has done exactly that, and has about a third of the market. Just goes to show how strong the Playstation name is...
