Super Mario RPG Developer not Interested in Sequel

They haven't made a Super Mario RPG game in like 17 years.  

They have made a lot of Mario RPGs lately, but not this one.  

How about a Final Fantasy x Super Mario. Both franchises have so many characters they could make a game of epic proportions.

Obviously that would be a special case. I'd do Nintendo x Final Fantasy, I think it would be one of the biggest franchise's in the game industry if done properly.
