Are Xbox One and PS4 Doomed to follow in the footsteps of Wii U?

If Wii didn't have motion controls it would have sold like the Wii-U is selling now and the PS3 and X360 would still have sold the same, possibly more.

Wii-U sales are no indication of the possible succes of the PS4 or Xbox One. Saying so is like saying the next Iphone or Samsung S flagship smartphone is going to sell bad because a mid range model smartphone of a Nokia smartphone isn't doing well. It's not catering to the same market segment and it can in no way be compared in demand.
