Copying? That doesn't make sense. That's like saying Microsoft copied Sony by adding a Blu-ray drive, or giving free games to 360 gamers. No one copied anyone.

They are copying the approach of including a microphone in the box as this is reasonably frequently cited as an advantage for Xbox Live
