Seriously, I'm looking forward to upcoming Wii U games, expecially X, but so far........it's pretty lame. Pikmin 3 looks good, but from what I hear it's short, so I'm not going to spend $400 for the system and game now just for that one game.

I hope Nintendo announces more games in the future. X, Bayonetta 2, W101, and SMT x. Fire Emblem all look like amazing unique experiences, but it's not enough, especially since only one or two games are high budget. Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, and Sonic will also likely be good, but it's nothing crazy compared to what we've seen on the Wii.

What was so crazy on the Wii? Most of Nintendo's franchises were pretty tame and traditional compared to their GCN counterparts.

Debatable, both systems had definitive games, but I only mentioned Wii because it's more recent. IMO I think N64 had the bulk of the definitive Nintendo games, but I might be giving it too much credit just because I'm a huge Mario Party 2 fan.

Most people will say that the best Mario is Galaxy, Zelda is OoT, Metroid is Prime 1, Mario Kart is DS (but I can't play portable Mario Kart games so I think 64/Wii are the best), Mario Party is 2, Donkey Kong is Country 1, Smash Bros is Melee....etc.

My point was that Wii made a lot of proper Nintendo games. Proper Mario, Zelda, Metroid Prime, Donkey Kong, Mario Kart, etc. I don't think too many people want a Wii U for more of the same. I'm looking forward to X very much, and I think more unique Wii U experiences like this will push hardware sales. I mean I think this is why I think Wii did so well, Wii Sports was new, and people loved it.
