Not true in survivor you lose if the time runs out and you're the only person left. This is why the game tells the winning to team to rush you at the end. It force flushes you out or you die.

Not if you are 1 vs 1

The chances of that going down are very high, but in supply raid. In Survivor the chances are higher that more than one person will be after you at the end when the computer prompts them to rush you.
