Regardless of the time, how on earth did you manage to get such a higher score in singleplayer rather than co-op? O_o

Was your teamate counter productive lol?

It was the first level I played with my brother and he had to get used to the controls, the layout of the level and the new stuff in Pikmin 3. We platinumed the level on our second attempt and moved on. Later I played the level alone and picked up the two leaf enemies I forgot on an earlier run. By that point I knew the level already pretty well, so that's why the platinum score is much better in singleplayer.

I haven't played for scores yet and I am not sure if I will once I have all platinum medals. So far: 12/16 in singleplayer, 10/16 in co-op.

On a related note, apparently Miyamoto hinted at revealing what the secret files in the campaign are good for. They form a code (randomly generated for each save file), so hopefully Nintendo tells us how and where it is going to be used soon. I am quite sure it's going to unlock a secret ending, because that much was hinted at by the game.

Ah, now it all makes sense! Still, even with that extra minute, that single player score is uber impressive compared to mine. How did you do it!

Also I had to stop reading your post as soon as you said secret files. I don't haves the game yet so trying to avoid spoilers!
