Okay, what is the name? The art style? The theme? The control scheme? The mechanics? The story? When it will come out? When it will be announced? I'm pretty sure none of those popped up in Nintendo Directs, and that's the kind of information that I actually care about.
And I chose to ignore that part because, unlike much of the gaming press, I don't get excited over scraps that don't tell me anything definite about a game.
Oopen world...okay, I heard about that months ago, and my reaction hovered between meh and disappointment. Either the open-world aspect is a lot less prominent than people are expecting, or one of the better-designed aspects of previous games in the series is being eroded because open-world games are now "in."
And yes, you being a bit petty. The fact you're excited about Zelda U is all well and good, but that's no reason to mock people who aren't as interested.

I think you not watching the nintendo direct and not having any info yet still talking about it like you know is petty.
The art style shouldnt make a difference on the design of the gameplay. The controls are with the gamepad controls obviously, the story you will never know until the game comes out.

If I am in error, feel free to correct me. Simply saying "you don't know what you're talking about therefore you are petty" tells me nothing other than the fact you don't know what "petty" means.
"The art style shouldnt make a difference on the design of the gameplay." I didn't say that it would.
"The controls are with the gamepad controls obviously" Which says absolutely nothing of value about how it will be used.
"the story you will never know until the game comes out." Because Nintendo never reveals concrete details about an upcoming game's story... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyHTZkZLn9s
