To be honest, as much as it kinda irks me, it wouldn't stun me if Disney at some point made a serious acquisition bid for Nintendo.
Probably not any time soon, but at some point in the next 20-30 years, probably well after Mr. Yamauchi has passed away and perhaps even Mr. Miyamoto himself (kinda sad to think about, but that's life).
In the future I think you'll probably have 4-5 entertainment "entities" that own everything.
