Actually, no.   I meant as I stated.  DX 11 and DX 11 equivalent.  DX 11 equivalent would be OpenGL 4.0.

However, the Wii U most likely uses modified OpenGL 3.3 to 4.1 (it's uncertain) but it is known it has DX 11 equivalent features in tesselation and compute shaders among others.


They most likely wrote their renderer based on OpenGL 3.3 and looked at 4.0 to add modified features since it's well, open to look at. It would be nice if they can provide more information on the tessellator though, that's really the main difference in standards other than a few enhancements with DX11 compared to DX10.1 level hardware.
