why is the gamepad their worst? It is comfortable and is not heavy at all.

Bulky, underdeveloped as a tablet controller, awkward button positioning and terrible battery life. It's not a hopeless controller per say, but as far as Nintendo controllers go, I think it's their worst so far. Then again, Nintendo controllers are usually terrific.
