Godzilla 2014: Sequel to Destroy All Monsters possible says Gareth Edwards!

As a diehard kaiju fan who owns all 28 Japanese Godzilla movies, I am massively hyped for this!

I am a little nervous though, given how atrocious the 1998 Tristar version was.
