No kidding. But it's not a bad thing. The reason Xbox is more "shooter centric" as some put it is...
1: It's flagship exclusive franchise is a FPS known for its addictive multiplayer.
2: Xbox Live has been the premiere online service for consoles since it launched back in 2002, and the biggest and most-played online multiplayer games across all platforms just happen to be shooters, along with RTS games and MMOs on PC.
That being said, while the Xbox 1st party lineup might not be as "diverse" as PlayStation's (mainly due to the fact that PS is developed by a Japanese company), their 3rd party lineup is just as diverse as the PS lineup now that most 3rd party companies are no longer sticking with just one platform each generation like they did during the PS1 and 2 gens, which Sony obviously benefited greatly from.
