DM2 box office is now ahead of MU both domestically and overseas by the time both movies are done showing in theater I think that DM2 will be ahead by at least $200 million dollars world wide. Also it looks like Pacific Rim will probably not make more then GU2 domestically that okay though since Pacific Rim will do a lot better overseas the GU2 especially in Japan, Korea and China where mechas and Kaiju are very popular.
