It's not my opinion, it's what I've observed. I've been part of the Fighting Game community for as long as I can remember and I can attest to the fact that people to this day still play Marvel 2 and Third Strike among other fighting games. As long as there is competition, people will play those fighting games which is what makes fighting games so unique. Age is nothing but a number.

Little bit off topic, but I just noticed I have been talking to two different people with this topic.

Anyway, I wasn't arguing that because a game is old people wont play it anymore.  This actually wasn't about who plays it, it was about who watches it.  Fact is, more people play/have played Melee than Marvel.  Also, read my responses to the other guy and you'll see exactly what's going on here.
