Twilight Princess wasn't meant to be dark, it was meant to be epic. And it succeeded. I wan't a Twilight Princess with more colours, epic orchestrated music, an overworld where you actually have something to explore, no specifix order to beat the game and overall more freedom and more rpg elements like in Skyward Sword. Would be my personal game of the century.
I'd rather have the order, but not be handed the answer to what that order is. Hmmm, this is hard to explain. If i want to go through a volacano, i'm going to need the red tunic. That's a puzzle or obstacle i need to over come and in itself can lead to another conflict; i.e. "how do i get a red tunic" If the answer is "i'm going to go to the store and buy one", well, that's not a very fullfilling solution. Now this isn't the best example as all of us, as vg forum readers i'm sure, have played zelda and know that you would know what the red tunic is and what it does. That is part of the problem for me. I don't want to know what the proverbial red tunic is. I want to have to find a solution somewhere else in the world to solve this hypothetical volcano problem. Also, i don't want the 1st person i talk to to tell me "try going to the volcano to...". I would either want everyone (except maybe one person i have to find as a hint) to tell me about all the places in hyrule, or nothing at all so that i don't know where i'm supposed to go right away. I don't want to be clueless, but i don't want the answer on a silver platter. Did any of that make sense. I think, for whatever reason, that was the hardest thing i've ever explained on a forum. weird.
