Smash Bros Melee is 12 years old and Brawl has already released and the next Smash Bros game has been announced.  If you don't think that had some sort of effect on how many people cared or watched, then you really need to read more on how these things really are.

The first street fighter game wasn't a fighting game. People pay more attention as the fighting game developes more as long as it isn't replaced by a better game(brawl wasn't it). Marvel has gotten bigger each year. Much more people play melee than brawl as well. The evidence agrees with me.

You lost all credibility with that statement.  I read everything else, and it's also not true. You have no evidence.  I don't think anyone who knows what they're talking about agrees with you.
