What I meant by empty was the fact that from those screenshots you're seemingly in the middle of fucking nowhere, it's just a mech and an environment, no NPCs in sight or other impressive things on the screen, it feels empty. I was under the impression that the beginning was CGI, when he was walking through the mechs as well as the city overview and the ending of the trailer, but if it's ingame than I'm truly impressed as it passed as CGI.

All in game. Nintendo games rarely contain CGI to begin with and even then are even more rarely used in promo material.

Yeah, if that scene would have been CG we surely wouldn't have seen those jaggies. It is at least in-engine.
