I said that in the context of being a next gen system. I was extremely clear about that.

I still don't think you're clear. I'm talking about the historical gap between the weakest console of each generation compared to the consoles from the previous gen. I'm not talking about PS4/Xone. The OP suggested that the PS2 was a gen behind because it was the weakest. While gens aren't based on power, I argued that the Wii U gap to 7th gen consoles was smaller than the PS2's gap with 5th gen consoles, so he was using a flawed analogy.

But I've already clarified this with you in just about every post. You don't seem to have any interest in my actual argument. You just got your feelings hurt because I don't consider the Wii U to be some massive leap, and ignored everything else I said. This is my last response unless you intend to address the actual point of my original post.

i think the OP is being ironic to all the "arguments" haters use to say wii u is 7th gen. and duh, of course the ps2 is much more powerful than  n64/ps/saturn.
