because of what we've seen so far. games that aren't even close to using wii u's full power already running at 720p/1080p and 60fps. if at it's minimum wii u already shows a nice difference from the ps360 then we can say for sure it's a good distance, even though we can't say EXACTLY how big because we don't know the exact specs. add the modern developing tools (dx 11 equivalent, shader models...) wich the ps360 don't have and we have a machine with the same technologies for development that ps4/xone has, only with less raw power but nothing really big. p.s. most wii u games so far are ps360 ports or low budget non graphically intensive games. of course you won't see much of a difference. the same happened with x360 wich got nicknamed as xbox 1.5. remember that? |
There were launch games on PS360 running at 1080p 60fps. If the Wii U already showed a nice difference then people wouldn't be having this conversation.
I love how you're making this huge deal out of the difference between the Wii U - PS360 but you say that the differences between it and the Xbone and PS4 are nothing big. Looking at RAM alone, Sony and MS's new consoles have 4 times as much, which is the same amount Wii U has over PS360. Estimations put the PS4 GPU at around 4-5 times as capable (in terms of FLOPS at least) as the Wii U's which is seemingly bigger than the difference between the Wii U and PS360.
Anyway, you're completely changing topic from the initial post. Either demonstrate that the PS2 was a smaller leap than the Wii U from their previous gens, respectively, or give it a rest.
