What your statement tells me about you and a few others is that you need to play some non-Nintendo games if you think SM64 has exploration.  Sounds like need a smack of reality and see what real exploration is in games.

It's not us it's you, many players of 3d Mario games will tell you the same thing about SM64 and you haven't played it by your description, exploration is not subjective, I've been gaming on non-Nintendo platforms since the 80s as well btw, your attempt at an attack indicates even more what I suspect.
