Yeah, I just saw your other post. I suppose it depends on what angle you want to discuss. Yes, new characters/story are technically new IP by definition.

it is. and people seem to want to discuss the lack of need for a new IP if things stay fresh, which is fine by me. but they are doing it in the completely wrong way by saying a older IP is somehow newer than a new IP
