People looking forward to a game doesn't necessarily mean that they will create a thread to share their excitement. There's nothing really important to say before you have played the game, unless you value "this will be so awesome" over "this is awesome".

1 and 3 were good, 2 was a letdown. 4 looks like it could be the best game in the series (currently it's Bowser's Inside Story).

I have not thought about that earlier and I do get what you mean. Anyway, thanks for sharing that piece of knowledge. I will have that on the back of my head if I do think of doing something similar.
