it will bomb though unless Activision and/or Nintendo can create a new audience for the game on Wii U. This will be a challenge.

Do you have a marketing degree and reputable experience in the field? If so please regard this, but if not then you have no idea what you're saying. The Wii-U needs a bigger fan base. Not a new one. COD on the Wii sold well enough for activision to release multiple games and typically hit a million copies per game. For a COD port that is all you really need to ask from it. Nintendo needs to do a better job on carrying over Wii owners to the Wii-U. Not establish a "new" audiance, but instead convince their current one to move over. 

ok let me clarify, when I say new audience I mean people who already own the Wii U but have never considered a COD game before. They need to gain their interest.
