Your reasoning is dead. You're pursuing the kind of obvious logic that led to no intelligence and proper prediction in the past, why would it work now.

The 3DS was dead, the PS3 was dead, the NDS was dead, the Wii was DEAD. There are cases where Nintendo were dead but there were many where they weren't. The U is one of those for 1million and 1 reasons. The U takes cues from the 3DS. It will do fine, so long as that course is kept.
