No, most of Nintendo's consoles will show that they are in a league of their own. The gameboy showed that, the NES showed that, the Wii did too. Sega was the only one to truly compete with Nintendo in that segment of the industry and even then. Sony only managed to beat Nintendo in the mainstream due to good hardware design and marketing, they tapped into the mainstream. But when it comes to games Nintendo are untoucheable and so they have a market all to themselves that Sony and MS will have a lot of difficulty reaching and it will be like that for a long time.
