They complained about the story lacking depth. You'll have to ask crissindahouse if you want to know more. I don't subscribe to Gamepro nor do I buy it.

Fair enough. A complaint from ONM was that a good number of the "powers" were reused from previous titles, as with a lot of the attacks. But there you are.

Interestingly, there was no mention of the story in the ONM review. So long as its funny, I really don't care about the depth.
