Also, many feel that White House Down is a tribute to Obama and that takes away half the populace whom dislike him. It's the same way many felt that Air Force One was a tribute to Bill Clinton when it released while he was in office and that caused the film to perform poorly at the box office. |
Air Force One didn't preform poorly at the box office it was the 5th highest grossing movie of 1997 domestically with $172 million and 4th highest world wide with $315 million dollars. Also its still is Wolfgang Petersons best preforming picture since its buget was $85 million all his other movies that did better had much higher budgets.
