"one 3d mario and one 2d mario for each console is milking, ok."

That's just putting a pro Nintendo spin on it.

Not even true either because Wii had 2 3D and 1 2D game. By the end of the year both the Wii U and 3DS will have already had a 3D and 2D Mario each and there will be more to come.

Again though it is ignoring the fact that there are still Mario Karts, Tenis, Party, Paper, Olympics, Soccer, Baseball,RPG games abnd anything else. That is milking the Mario name for all it's worth.

If Nintendo lost the license to use Mario they would struggle tremendously.

b1: wii was the exception, big deal. and show me your crystal ball to prove more will come to both wii u and 3ds. even if they do, better for gamers.

b2: All different franchises, if putting mario characters on those games not only works but add to the carisma, why change? It's much better than make the same game, put a new character and then call it a new franchise (what many other devs do).
