It's still trending below last year and probably will continue to do so till September. Japan is the biggest culprit and the 3DS XL + NSMB releases in August last year won't be topped imo. 

That said it has a shot at selling BIG in the holidays. DS used to be able to pull off 10m+ in November + December so anything is possible!

pokemon+MH4 is wat will determine the sales this year! MH4 has 2 3ds xl models and now there's a rumor going on that pokemon x y mascots will be on a red+blue 3DS XL! if that were true imagine how much sales will come through? Instead of Nov+Dec for major sales this year it'll be Oct+Nov+Dec and Japan will have Sept as well (MH4)

True September and October will be huge. I still think 20 mil is just a tad beyond reach.
