Nintendo vs Sega rivalry was done via commercials and in person.......which is done this gen as well. And check out the SNES vs Genesis lifetimes sales gap. Not even close. This gen was all about a struggling PS3 clawing and scratching to eventually take the lead. Its a statistical tie now, far more drama then SNES vs Genesis. |
Sega had 52% of the market in 1993. Most of SNES sales lead came from selling well into 1995 and 1996.
