You must be too young to remember. In our day the PS was very expensive. As a canadian it was even worse, it was priced at 500$. The N64 was like 350$. The numbers are there to support this. Relatively speaking, the PS was very successful even at a steeper price. That's my point.


I was just going by US price, buy honestly do u know anybofy that takes inflation into account when making a purchase? The PS1 and PS2 both launched at $299 here, idc what they cost in 2012 dollars because its irrelevent.
