I just finished the game yesterday, and it was very good. I've finished the other two Biohsocks, but did not pay as much attention to the story as I would like to/should have. The way I understood it is that during the game, Booker is Comstock, and therefore Elizabeth's father. In a different universe, Booker had accepted the baptism and became Comstock. However, what happened is that the Elizabeths drowned Booker, and therefore Comstock never existed. With Comstock having never existed, he coulnd't have become Andrew Ryan.
But i suppose there could be other universes where Booker wasn't drowned. If he accepted the baptism and became Comstock, he may have ended up somehow becoming Ryan and maybe Lady Comstock becomes Sofia Lamb?. And I suppose there could be a universe where Booker somehow becomes Jack. I don't think that's what happened, but I'm not leaving it out of the question.
