Are you talking about 1st party support or just how the games on the Wii U are?  Because if you are talking about the games themselves then it's not even true.  The 3DS versions of Wii U titles tend to be different.   If you're talking about the 1st party support for Wii U, I guess it's a matter of how you look at it.
