Had Final Fantasy Xiii-2 been called anything else and was made by the creators of Nino Kuni, it would have sold significantly less. In terms of genre, gameplay etc, they're both niche, but still Final Fantasy games sell much better. I don't blame casuals either, but it's definitely annoying. Same with Jersey Shore, Twilight and other non quality products. |
True, but I can't really blame casual for being uninformed, either. They buy what they associate with good things, not something that could be anything from really good to really bad. The associate Pokémon with good but they have no idea what Ni no Kuni is like - if they even know about it at all.
