2. The tech in it is nothing groundbreaking. Sony chose it because they wanted an easy PC port, and AMD offered them a great deal due to their financial situation. The best CPU technology right now is clearly Intel, and Nvidia has a slight lead in graphics.

Guess nothing official atleast.  Though I recall reading after the PS4 reveal they were going to release the APU in the PC space.

Products containing the CPU core, Jaguar, and the GPU shaders will be released of course, but I would bet 100:1 against the same chip from the PS4 being for general sale.

Who knows but AMD?  I don't think Sony owns the customizations, and I'm sure they took that into account when they made them.  Plus you can't prevent an idea from entering hardware.  Nvidia can make the same changes to their compute engines if the wanted too.
