I think the sharing and profile on the cloud were real innovations but now they're gone because paranoid gamers want to hug their discs...

Great article. Spot on from my perspective and how I see things. But I guess I am in minority. The Verge also posted a negative article about this change...

I guess there just weren't enough of us to make a difference. I wish we at least had a choice in the matter.
