With the 2013 line-up - No.

Maybe, maybe after Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8 and a $100 price drop. So late 2014?

If you mean a 200$ wii-u i don't think you'll see one till 2016 at the earliest.

I think it will be sooner than that. $50 cut this year and discontinue 8gb then in 2015 cut to $200, also i think its possible it will be $200 on black friday 2014.

totally disagree.  They won't drop the price this year.  They already have the lowest priced console on the market for next gen.  They're releasing a bunch of games in the not to distant future.  They'll take this oppurtunity to try to move units via software.  1st price cut in 2014, second in 2015.  If the 8 gig does get discontinued that will bring the price down to 250.    but we'll see won't we.

It may be the lowest, but valuewise it's very poor compared to a much more powerful PS4 with 500gb harddrive for only $50 more.

Dropping Nintendoland in favour of Super Mario 3D World might help the value proposition but likely retailers will include a game or two with PS4's anyway.

Also PS3/360 which plays the same multiplatforms will likely get a cut when the new systems come out further eroding WiiU's value proposition.

I figure they'll need to do at least a $50 price drop or get crushed this holiday season.

then i guess they'll get crushed this holiday season.  The only thing you may of missed is that nintendo never campains to the gamer.   It's commercials are always more aimed at joe consumer.  Also, it's main competition, price wise, will be ps360.  But, i don't think you'll see any marketing towards those consoles this holiday.  So, if played correctly and with some luck, nintendo will make the general consumer think that their machine is on the same level as xb/4 and simply the best value.  That's my take anyway.  If there's a price drop this year (retail controlled price drops not counting)  i'd be absolutely shocked.
