I think it's different for different people.
It's a nice stress relief for me. After hours of competitive killing on Battlefield 3 or strangling zombies in The Last of Us or Racing around and F1 track at insane speeds, it's nice to take a break and just chill out at my own pace in a game where there's no pressure, no dying and no stress.
It's a nice relaxing game.
